No temporary dental work, no metal! Ask us about CEREC crowns and veneers so you can spend less time in the dentist’s chair and more time smiling and enjoying life.
A crown is a cap for a damaged tooth. It can be made from a variety of materials, including metal or porcelain.
Who needs a crown?
If you have a large cavity that is too big for a filling, it may be time for a crown. You may also need a crown if your tooth is cracked or weakened.
Crowns are also recommended following a root canal on a tooth, as the tooth is more fragile and needs protection.
You may also be a candidate for a crown if you are missing a tooth and the dentist needs to put in a dental bridge or implant.
You can have a perfect smile at an affordable price, with the most popular non-invasive dental beauty procedure.
A dental veneer is a thin layer of custom-made porcelain which fits over the front of the tooth. Veneers do not only restore your teeth in the most beautiful and natural-like way but they also ensure longevity of the restorations.
• Diagnosis and treatment application – through a primary examination or in some cases through dental impression and x-ray, the doctor decides what is the optimum solution for solving your aesthetic dental problems.
• Preparation of the teeth – cleaning the teeth and removing a layer of enamel; making the mould needed to make the veneers.
• Uncapping – temporary veneers will be removed (if any) and then the correct position of the final veneers will be established. The dentist will use a special weak acid solution, creating a rougher surface (necessary to improve the veneer’s adhesion)
The location and placement of the veneers – the ceramic veneer will be placed on the outer front surface of the tooth by means of a special adhesive. Once the final position is determined, a special light that will strengthen the dental cement used is applied.
